
Abraham Artashesyan currently serves as Project Manager for the Communities Finance Officers’ Association, where he has been working since 2006.
Mr. Artashesyan has considerable experience coordinating and managing various projects. His most notable achievements are in the areas of budget regulation and local self-government, where has has coordinated a number of projects linking the local and national governance platforms. In the area of local self-government, he has contributed to the creation of a partnership between Eastern European states and those of the former USSR, in order to develop a set of comments referring to the Law on Local Self-Government in Armenia.
Mr. Artashesyan holds a degree in Macro-economics from the Armenian State University of Economics (formerly the Yerevan State Institute of National Economy), as well as an MBA from the American University in Armenia . In addition, he has attended various seminars and training sessions on trade policy, membership and public policy advocacy, intergovernmental fiscal relations, etc., both in Armenia and abroad.
