The Regional Coalition of Women Business Associations Program (2005-2007)
The goal of this project (with funding from the National Endowment for Democracy) was to create a network of Balkan women business associations able to foster economic cooperation and to promote public policies that will improve the status of women entrepreneurs and the business environment, both at local and regional level.

Coalition of Women Business Associations in Romania Program (2004-2005)
In 2004, at the request of prominent women associations from Romania and with funding from National Endowment for Democracy, CIPE started a project aiming to strengthen the Romanian women’s ability to participate more actively within the democratic society, and to build broader public understanding and support for their efforts.

the first-prize winner for the category "Educational Reform and Employment", with an essay dealing with education reforms in Romania. Read more




The CIPE Development Institute is a joint effort with CIPE partners and distinguished global scholars. It features multimedia presentations, lesson plans and study materials on the topics of democracy, market economy and international development, geared to students and professors in developing countries. But the curriculum is also free to any person or organization interested in these topics. CIPE's goal is simple: help students worldwide become positive agents of change.
