Jhale Hajiyeva
Jhale Hajiyeva is the Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Micro-Finance Association. She has been working in the field of micro-finance since 1999, in the areas of project design, network development, and project implementation. Since 2004, when she joined AMFA, she has established successful strategic partnerships with government authorities and several donor organizations, including UNDP, USAID, OSCE. Previously, she worked as Deputy Project Manager for the International Organization for Migration.
Mrs. Hajiyeva is one of the authors of the first Azerbaijan Benchmarking Report 2004 & 2006, that was published in partnership with the MIX Market. Additionally, she is a publisher of the quarterly Azerbaijan microfinance sector portfolio statistics and an organizer of country-level sonferences on microfinance policy dialogues.
Ms. Hajiyeva holds a Bachelor's degree and a Master’s degree in Management, Economics and International Relations from Azerbaijan State Oil Academy.
