Tatiana Lariushin

Tatiana Lariushin has a vast experience working with scientific, governmental and civil society organizations. Since 2005, she has been working as Senior Economist at the IDIS “Viitorul” Centre of Economic Policy, where she has been combining her research activity with participation in development projects.
Ms. Lariushin has participated as national expert in a number of international programs and projects (Danube Fund, the UNDP, SIDA, EROC, and other). Additionally, she has contributed to developing national strategic and regulatory documents, such as National Strategy for a Sustainable Development «Moldova-21», Programs for Development of Small and Medium Business, the Law on Joint Stock Companies and others.
Her past professional experience also includes serving as Executive Secretary of the Higher Economic Council, under the administration of the President of the Republic of Moldova. In this capacity, she has coordinated the Council’s activity and the drafting of governmental and legislative regulations related to business development.
Ms. Lariushin was educated at Chisinau State University and holds a Doctor of Economics degree and an MBA degree. In 2004 she also became a certified trainer on economy and pedagogy after an internship in the National Council on Economic Education (N.C.E.E.), Training of Trainers Exchange Program, Department of Education and States Department of United State.
She has authored or co-authored a number of policy studies and analytical research studies, such as “Unofficial Taxation in Moldova”, a project which was supported by CIPE. She also represents the expert community in the National Business Agenda Initiative in Moldova.
