Valentin Negoita


Valentin Negoita build his experience in business associatio ns management as Executive Director of the Cable Communications Association (2001-2003), as President of the Producers and Distributors of ICT Equipments (starting 2003), as well as President of the ECO TIC, the first collective organization of the electrical and electronic equipment producers (EEE) in Romania established in 2006. The associations managed by Mr. Negoita have been actively involved in changing legislation affecting the ICT sector.

Valentin Negoita has a BA in philology from the ‘Alexandru Ioan Cuza’ University, followed by a training program in economic journalism at the Bucharest University. He has also participated in the World Trade Institute Program for Funding Policies and Techniques, as well as in American Studies Workshop in Salzburg.

His professional experience includes positions such as editor and producer for the Romanian Society for Radio and Telecommunications (1981-1992), columnist for ‘Tribuna Economica’ (1981-1992), editor-in-chief for ‘Capital’ business magazine (1992-1997), General Director of the Media On Press Group (2000-2001).
